Admissions Assistant

Minerva’s Virtual Academy is a unique, online Independent School for pupils aged 12 to 18, pioneered by Minerva Tutors, the UK’s leading provider of homeschooling and tutoring services.
In a nutshell, we combine the experience of attending a bricks and mortar independent school with the flexibility of homeschooling and deliver it all online.
We are in an exciting stage of development and are seeking a bright and enthusiastic Admissions Assistant to guide prospective parents, pupils and potential partners through the admissions process.
The work environment is fun and far away from the usual school admissions environment.
It is an exciting time to join a team that works 100% remotely and this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate.
You will be reporting to and working closely with The Head of Marketing and Admissions and Admissions Officer. You will be responsible for dealing with all communications from prospective parents, agents or other partners, from the initial enquiry through to pupil enrolment, whilst maintaining a positive relationship with families throughout their time at the school.

Marketing Officer

Palmers Green High School (PGHS) seeks to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Marketing Officer to join the School. Admissions and Marketing Assistant

This is an exciting, newly created, opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join a team of three and report to the Marketing and Communications Director, Admissions Registrar. The core working hours are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (52 weeks) with the requirement to work occasional weekends and evenings to attend open evenings and marketing events.

 The successful candidate will have exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher) and a strong administrative background. Website and social media experience would be advantageous. The role requires excellent interpersonal, written and prioritisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Radnor House is a 9-18, selective, co-educational, independent day school set in historic buildings on the banks of the River Thames in Twickenham, just thirty minutes from Central London. Development and Alumnae Manager

The Role

Gabbitas is looking for a candidate to fill an exciting new role as the Marketing and New Business director based in our offices in London. This role will be responsible for supporting the growth of Gabbitas across all departments as well as internationally. We are looking for an individual who is experienced in identifying and developing new areas of growth as well as making sure the current areas are working as efficiently as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing new channels and platforms yielding in new client referrals
  • Identifying and leading the expansion into new international markets
  • Communicating with UK and overseas independent schools about hosting seminars and events internationally
  • Strengthening the Gabbitas brand even further
  • Promoting and implementing all existing Gabbitas services as well as UKiset testing to independent school in the UK and overseas schools
  • Developing and hosting online/offline seminars/events in the UK on a quarterly basis
  • Developing a strategic marketing plan for the full range of Gabbitas services
  • Keeping up with developments within the industry and adjusting the strategic marketing plan accordingly if necessary
  • Communicating and working together with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Increasing sales by leveraging data
  • Reporting and delivering on KPIs and meeting growth targets

Requirements

  • Strong marketing and business development experience of 8 – 10 years.
  • In-depth knowledge of the independent school market is a must. Ideally you will have previously worked in one or will have strong ties with individuals working in independent schools. Having links with international schools is also an added benefit.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience in managing teams
  • Proven track record of growing a business and delivering on KPIs
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to think strategically
  • Ability to make data driven decisions and a general understanding of CRM systems
  • Fluency in Microsoft 365
