Required to start early December 2023, to cover maternity leave, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed marketing professional.  This role is key to the development and execution of the School’s core marketing and communications activity.  Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications the successful candidate will help to deliver effective marketing campaigns to recruit pupils nationally and internationally via print/digital media and other marketing channels. The successful applicant will be an integral part of a busy marketing office and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering engaging social media and website content underpinned by creative copywriting skills, together with supporting key marketing events. This role would suit someone with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and previous marketing/communications experience in an education setting.  Please see the job description for full details of this role and method of application.

Alumnae Relations Assistant

Area Manager

Pippa’s Guardians is a family run company caring for International Students aged between 7 and 18 years of age at some of Britain’s best Boarding Schools. We are looking to grow our team of Area Managers to continue providing exceptional levels of care and support to our students.

We are looking for an Area Manager who is based in the Tunbridge Wells or Canterbury area.

Our Area Managers are compassionate, organised, proactive and responsive people who will be responsible for the well-being of international students. Previous experience in the Independent School sector would be advantageous. This role is mostly full time in term time and part time in the holidays and is hugely flexible, rewarding and varied.
You’ll liaise with students at some of the county’s top independent schools as well as their parents, Registrars, Housemasters, Housemistresses, Matrons and our network of brilliant Host Families.
You’ll need to be flexible – able to work some evenings and weekends – with excellent relationship management and rapport-building so our students feel comfortable with you. You’ll visit students in their boarding houses, attend parents’ meetings, recruit and inspect Host Families and provide emergency support. A driving licence and use of your own car is therefore essential.

Marketing Officer

Marketing Officer
Part time: 18 hours per week, term time only. Precise working hours to be agreed with the successful candidate but the primary working days will be Wednesday-Friday.
Actual Pro-Rated Salary= £9,121 per annum

Benenden School, one of the leading independent schools in the country, is looking for a part-time marketeer to join our busy and thriving Marketing Team.

This new role will take responsibility for producing our two weekly bulletins. The Staff Bulletin shares key information and updates with our staff body, and the Parent Bulletin blends information with news, highlights, picture and video of the School’s week into a comprehensive digital newsletter that gives parents a strong insight into their daughters’ lives at Benenden. These publications are produced every week during term time and are produced to tight deadlines and, as you would expect from a premium school, to a very high standard. The role would therefore suit a candidate with journalism experience or a background in media publications.

In addition, the new Marketing Officer would support the rest of the team’s work where possible, with tasks such as writing news articles, taking pictures, updating the School’s social media platforms, offering administrative support and helping produce our other publications.

It’s an incredibly exciting time to be joining our fast-paced environment. In addition to the recent opening of the magnificent new School Hall and Music School and the subsequent launch of our commercial events brand, Hemsted Park, we will shortly be opening our first international school and have a wide range of events and initiatives planned to celebrate the School’s centenary year from September.
