Director of Marketing, Communications and Admissions

Salary: In the region of £50-£60,000 per annum, depending upon skills and experience

Lincoln Minster is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for circa 480 pupils aged 2-18 years. Set in the heart of Lincoln’s historic quarter, the school was founded in 1996 following a merger of St Joseph’s Convent School, Stonefield House School and the Cathedral School.

The school is looking to appoint a Director of Marketing, Communications and Admissions who will be responsible for marketing and pupil recruitment and be pivotal to the future growth of the school. The successful candidate will take the lead in developing and delivering outstanding marketing and pupil recruitment strategies and will build and maintain excellent relationships with all key stakeholders, both internal and external. This is an exciting time to join the school and to play a key role in shaping the strategy which will take Lincoln Minster to the next stage of its development.

The postholder will provide inspiring and motivational leadership to the growing marketing and admissions team, and develop and implement a comprehensive strategic marketing plan to achieve pupil recruitment targets. Reporting to the Headmistress, the Director of Marketing, Communications and Admissions will be a member of the school’s Senior Leadership Team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded, strategic marketing professional who combines demonstrable leadership skills with strong and persuasive communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Previous schools’ experience is not essential, but the successful candidate will have good knowledge of the educational landscape and a keen understanding of the factors which drive parents to choose a school.

Growth Consultant

We are looking for a Growth Consultant to join our team to help us build the profile of HubGem Marketing and deliver exceptional marketing support to our clients. The Growth
Consultant role will be responsible for delivering inbound marketing strategies, including social media, blog articles and lead generation.

This role also offers the exciting opportunity to consult with clients to help them grow their organisations using inbound marketing methods and delivering content and ongoing support to clients as required.

This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly-growing small business and the ideal candidate will be fundamental to the growth of HubGem Marketing. This role is remote with regular meetings via Zoom and occasional team meetings in person (travel expenses within the UK will be covered). A strong work ethic, ability to be self-motivated and take the initiative are crucial.
