Merchant Taylors’ School, Northwood is seeking a creative and strategic Marketing Communications Manager to join its expanding Marketing Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketer to develop and drive a range of marketing projects to showcase the school’s mission, vision and values. To succeed in this role, you will be passionate about the education sector and have a knack for managing multiple projects. You will have excellent writing, editing and communication skills, as well as a creative and collaborative mindset.

Merchant Taylors’ School is an independent day school for boys aged 3 to 18. Development Officer

We are looking for someone who shares our passion to transform lives by expanding access to an education at one of the top girls’ schools in the country. LEH is offering a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic, results-driven, team player to become our Development Officer. You will support LEH’s fundraising goals and help us achieve our ambition of increasing the number of pupils we can support though our Bursary Fund. 

Working as part of a dynamic and supportive team, this hands-on role involves planning and delivering a varied programme of fundraising activities in support of our strategic goal to build engagement with key audiences and maximise income. This will involve working across a wide range of fundraising campaigns and appeals, from virtual giving days, balls and events to regular giving and relationship fundraising, ensuring that all deadlines and targets are met.

The ideal candidate will have experience of fundraising and of working with and managing data, along with strong organisational skills and a good eye for detail. There is plenty of opportunity to be creative and innovative. An enthusiastic, flexible and can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a busy, committed and ambitious team. The role is part-time and term-time plus two weeks, therefore offering an excellent work-life balance.

PR & Publications Manager

PR AND PUBLICATIONS MANAGER

Permanent, full time, 09.00 – 17.00, 40 hours per week.

Salary: circa £38,000 – £40,000 per annum

 The role:  The PR and Publications Manager plays a pivotal role in the School’s proactive communications strategy, promoting Harrow to the wider world. Reprographics Artworker (Maternity Cover)

A maternity cover vacancy has arisen for a Reprographics Artworker to provide a reprographics service to the School and to assist staff in the preparation of printed materials. They will use their proficiency with the Adobe InDesign package to produce a variety of printed documents on pre-supplied templates. They will maintain the School’s printers, photocopying and finishing equipment, ensuring that they are fully operational at all times.
This role will suit someone with demonstrable experience in the production of artwork, who prides themselves on producing attractive printed documents, their keen proof-reading eye for detail and their ability to juggle a varied and busy workload. They will enjoy using their accomplished customer care skills to support a range of internal customers. Deputy Admissions Manager

Marketing & Community Partnerships Manager

The Marketing and Community Partnerships Manager is an exciting new role working in consultation with SLT and the Head of Admissions.
The main responsibilities will be to increase the reach and impact of the School’s profile and visibility through the delivery of high quality and influential communications, marketing, digital marketing and PR.
The postholder will be responsible for all aspects of the School’s Marketing & PR.
This will include designing, developing and implementing a marketing strategy, which raises the profile of the School brand both internally and externally.

– They will be expected to play active, hands-on role in delivery of the strategy and will be comfortable working at strategic and operational levels as required.
– They will provide expert advice and guidance to the SLT on developing the school brand and provide strategies to increase pupil numbers where required.
– The postholder will manage relationships and contracts with a variety of external service providers, including but not limited to website providers, PR agencies, and local and national media contacts.
– Support the school’s strategic vision by developing and delivering a marketing and community engagement plan to effectively promote, communicate and connect the school externally to prospective parents, the local and wider community, local and national organisations, charities and the industry sector.
– Marketing and communication objectives will link strategically in supporting the school’s aims.
– Proactively seek opportunities to develop the school’s relationship within the local community and nationally where appropriate through the creation and delivery of a Community Partnership Programme which identifies the objectives and actions necessary to deliver our public benefit contribution and demonstrate our social responsibility.
