An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the executive team at John Lyon School. We are seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Officer on a permanent basis to provide a high-quality service to the Director of Marketing and Communications and the School.
You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your creative flair by designing vibrant artwork for multiple platforms, creating engaging content for the website and social media, and capturing moments at exciting events. The object of the role is to assist with all aspects of marketing, focusing on developing digital marketing.
The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills, a keen interest in the digital world and be capable of prioritising workload to deliver the highest quality products against challenging deadlines.
For the right candidate, there may be some flexibility over whether this role is carried out on a year-round or ‘term-time only plus’ basis (minimum 36 weeks), as well as around the weekly work pattern (days and hours). Nevertheless, we will also require a flexible approach to working hours from the post holder (for example in support of school events outside of normal school hours), and there may be a requirement to occasionally undertake work at the prep school site.
Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 p.a. depending on skills and experience, and weekly hours/annual working pattern
Hours: 32-40 hours per week, 36 weeks p.a. (term time plus 2 weeks) to year-round
The school’s benefits include:
