Admissions Manager

St Helen’s is an academically selective independent day school for girls aged 3 – 18. Set in 21 acres of beautiful green space in Northwood, Middlesex, it attracts students from a wide area of north-west London, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire with easy access by Underground from central London.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced administration manager to lead our busy, high performing admissions team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Admissions, the Admissions Manager will play a key role in the operational delivery of the student recruitment and retention strategy.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and ambitious self-starter with the drive, passion and insight to make a difference and who can bring their experience of managing teams and delivering a high-end customer experience to the role, ideally gained in the commercial service or independent schools’ sectors.

The ability to confidently engage, influence and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels is essential.

This full-time post is based on site, with some flexibility during school holidays and in line with the department and business operations. An excellent benefits package accompanies a salary of c£35k.

Digital Marketing Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the executive team at John Lyon School. We are seeking a dynamic Digital Marketing Officer on a permanent basis to provide a high-quality service to the Director of Marketing and Communications and the School.

You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your creative flair by designing vibrant artwork for multiple platforms, creating engaging content for the website and social media, and capturing moments at exciting events. Thinking strategically, you will measure the success of the school’s digital output, get involved with digital advertising campaigns and help improve the website experience.

It is a historic time to join the school, as we have recently become both co-educational and have merged with Quainton Hall, a prep school.

Working closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications, this role will help promote the school to a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, including prospective and current parents and pupils, alumni, governors, staff, local residents and local organisations. The object of the role is to assist with all aspects of marketing, focusing on developing digital marketing.

The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills, a keen interest in the digital world and be capable of prioritising workload to deliver the highest quality products against challenging deadlines.

For the right candidate, there may be some flexibility over whether this role is carried out on a year-round or ‘term-time only plus’ basis (minimum 36 weeks), as well as around the weekly work pattern (days and hours).  Nevertheless, we will also require a flexible approach to working hours from the post holder (for example in support of school events outside of normal school hours), and there may be a requirement to occasionally undertake work at the prep school site.

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 p.a. depending on skills and experience, and weekly hours/annual working pattern

Hours: 32-40 hours per week, 36 weeks p.a. (term time plus 2 weeks) to year-round

Head of Admissions, Communications and Marketing

Mount House School is a co-educational Independent Day School for students aged 11 to 18, set in and around a Grade II listed mansion near Barnet on the outskirts of North London. We are seeking a highly committed and well organised individual with strong communication skills to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a key role with leadership responsibility for Marketing, Admissions and Communications aspects of the School. Experience of Marketing and Admissions within the Education sector is highly desirable, but is not essential.

The post holder will be responsible for the marketing and admissions strategy, promotion and development of the school brand. The expectations of the role will be to increase the number of applications and acceptances and to provide excellent customer service to current and prospective parents and their children.

Established in 2017 as the successor to St Martha’s School for Girls, Mount House School is both ambitious and aspirational in its philosophy, with projected student numbers of approximately 300 in September 2025.
