The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organised, able to prioritise well and able to work accurately under pressure.  A high degree of IT literacy is needed with experience of working with databases and Google Suite.

Events and Communications Officer


(Alumni Relations and Development)

 The Development and Alumni Relations (OA Club) Department at Abingdon School is a busy, friendly team of five.  The OA Club provides a lifelong network for our global alumni community, helping them to connect with one another, access career support and to give back to the school.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic candidate with strong administrative, digital, and social media management skills and some experience of event management.  The ideal applicant will have excellent communication and prioritisation skills with a proven track record in growing online communities, writing and designing engaging editorial and will enjoy cultivating key relationships with our alumni (Old Abingdonians) and wider school community.

Director of Marketing and Admissions

Admissions & Events Officer

A highly organised and experienced administrator is required to play a key role managing the entry admissions process at St. Edward’s. This is a 12-month maternity cover.

The Admissions Department is the first point of contact for all families looking for their children to join the School and as a result this role is customer-focused, fast-paced, busy all year round and no two days are the same.

The Admissions & Events Officer manages the admissions process from initial enquiry to the enrolment of pupils, in addition to organising and managing events to showcase the school to prospective pupils.
