Sales and Business Development

Marketing

The right candidate must have:
Proven success delivering growth in international business within the private education sector, or within a similar industry serving high-net worth private clients.
A good range of contacts within the private client sector, and/or ideas on how and where to build new ones.
Empathy and an ability to engage with parents, building trust.
A good head for business, understanding commercial and budget targets with a drive to meet strategic plans for profitable growth.
Reliable with strong communication skills both written and verbal, as well as good understanding of cultural differences.

Highly competent IT skills and familiarity with using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot, as well as Sharepoint, Teams and Microsoft 365.
A full and clean UK driving license is essential. A British passport and the ability to travel overseas where and when necessary.
Working schedule: This is a full-time role Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm. Although the role is home based, it is anticipated that at least two days a week on average you will be away from your desk, meeting and finding new clients. There will be a requirement to attend some team meetings online, some at a central location in the UK, or some at the office in North Yorkshire. Overseas travel will be required.
Salary £36,000 per annum. KPI bonus (Linked to strategic growth targets).

Admissions and Events Co-ordinator

Marketing and Communications Executive
Each year, d’Overbroeck’s welcomes hundreds of new students to our school. Whether as a domestic or international, day or boarding student, the Marketing & Communications Executive will be influential in raising awareness of d’Overbroeck’s and helping families identify us as their preferred independent school of choice. We work with families directly, in addition to working with those who use international agents, via Nord Anglia Education’s Global Recruitment Team (GRT), who are based around the world.

Communications
- Manage the editing of the school website, and where appropriate repurpose content from other digital channels.
- Create and schedule content for the school’s social media channels to support the school’s key marketing priorities, monitoring and engaging with our key audiences.
- Assist with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and keyword search to make the school website more visible to those using search engines to find independent schools.
- Develop a feeling of community by ensuring students, their parents, guardians, international agents, and school staff are all informed and aware of upcoming events and milestones, ensuring student and staff representation is evident in content.
- Design and produce engaging news stories that highlight our ethos in parents’ weekly e-newsletter and play an active role in the evolution of the Parent Portal to ensure parent communications are streamlined and relevant across all marketing channels.
Marketing collateral
- Develop and produce materials from the brief stage through to writing content (often with colleagues across the school), editing, print and distribution, including internal publications, prospectuses, and newsletters.
- Ensure Nord Anglia and school brand guidelines are always upheld.
- Be responsible for the school’s promotional stands and other event support material (signs, banners, and merchandise), ordering new stock as required and ensuring the timely supply of stock to events.
- Manage the stock of all marketing collateral, creating systems to identify and order when stock needs to be replenished.
- Assist in updating third party content across printed material (e.g. school directories) and digital platforms (e.g. BBSN profile page).
- Oversee the collection of photography and videography that captures what makes d’Overbroeck’s so special.
- Collaborate with external suppliers, such as designers, film producers, website providers and printers to deliver marketing assets.
- Proactively manage and develop the school’s photo and video library (including photography or video consent).
- Ensure all marketing materials produced are compliant with GDPR regulations and robustly manage marketing non-consenters within the school.
Campaigns
- Execute the marketing plan, which spans prospective domestic and international, day and boarding students.
- Assist with projects within defined campaigns to directly address key market segments.
- Work with the GRT to identify and deliver key marketing efforts to support their markets.
Events
- Support the wider team with logistics, organisation, and promotion of school events. Customer service and liaison with attendees in the build up to events. Attending and hosting events in partnership with the wider marketing, admissions, and development team. Some of these events may take place in the evening or at weekends.
- Assist in delivering effective partnership and outreach events to engage and build relationships with feeder schools.
- Ensure that stakeholders and attendees are followed up, thanked, or asked for feedback as required.
Person Specification
Essential
- Create and deliver digital content via social media channels and using a website editor.
- Can demonstrate basic knowledge of image editing software such as Photoshop.
- Able to report on social media and website (using Google Analytics, Hootsuite or similar)
- Experience of producing top quality communications for external audiences.
- A willingness to immerse yourself proactively in the school community, staff, and students, to identify and highlight interesting content.

Prep Admissions Registrar & Marketing Officer
We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to take on a dual-role at Oxford High Prep School (OHPS), focusing on Admissions and Marketing. Working alongside the Head of Prep, the Marketing & Admissions team, as well as other teaching and support staff colleagues, this role is integral to the success of the recruitment of pupils entering Reception to Year 6.
As Admissions Registrar, your primary responsibilities are pupil recruitment, customer service and administration, with accountability for fulfilling all duties of the admissions process efficiently, through a variety of channels.
As Marketing Officer, you will focus on the planning and execution of marketing activities across various channels, such as social media, the website, as well as print communications and collateral.
You will be a vital member of the School’s marketing and admissions team, being the main point of contact for all inbound and outbound correspondences from/to prospective parents seeking entry to OHPS in Reception to Year 6, seeing through the full customer journey from initial enquiry to onboarding new students, and everything in between. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and successful completion of the admissions process, for both UK and overseas applicants, whilst always delivering an exceptional level of service and ensuring a high quality of work that is representative of the reputation of the Prep School.
Additionally, you will support with organising and implementing marketing plans within OHPS, through digital and traditional channels with the aim of supporting pupil recruitment as well as raising the profile of the School within the local community. You will have the opportunity to lead on specific projects and increase your skillset by taking on a wide variety of tasks that are integral to the positive promotion of OHPS.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining the admissions database, handling enquiries from prospective parents and processing applications in a timely fashion, facilitating the administration of the School’s entrance examinations, and much more. All of which are required within very strict timeframes and in combination with managing a very busy and varying workload. You will also oversee admissions events, such as assessment days, open days, virtual meetings and parents’ visits and maintain the Prep School’s social media channels and presence on the school website, plus more.
You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to maintain a high level of efficiency and attention to detail. You must be able to work independently, taking ownership of your workload, whilst being collaborative and supportive of your colleagues in the department and throughout the school.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in customer service or sales, as well as marketing and stakeholder management. An external facing role, you will have a positive and proactive approach to work and enjoy managing multiple projects at once.
