Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for a proven Marketing professional with a tried and tested track record to promote Abbotsholme School’s vision and ethos to a wider audience.

You will be joining an exciting, fast paced environment; capturing our diverse curriculum, beautiful environment and outstanding activities in action. The successful candidate will be creative, energetic and resourceful as well experienced in planning, producing and publishing written and visual content across websites and social media. The ability to engage our target audience and raise the school’s profile is key to this role.
Confident in communicating with stakeholders and colleagues on all levels is essential. You are charged with growing our marketing strategy with the senior leadership team.

You must be able to promote and progress the Abbotsholme vision and brand. You will therefore have an acute attention to detail when creating marketing material.
Working with PR & Media contacts both locally and nationally is also required, ensuring that they receive eye catching, newsworthy content.
Experience in event management is favourable, managing the promotion and arrangements for Open Week and external exhibitions.

Salary – £30,000 – £33,000 per year dependent on qualifications and experience.

We are looking to recruit a full time, permanent Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will have a positive, proactive working attitude and the ability to be flexible, efficient, and work effectively to deadlines and with all stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Admissions, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the school’s online and offline communication channels, developing publications, liaising with media, driving content and development of the website and digital advertising. They will ensure consistent and highly effective communications with current and prospective families and will work in close collaboration with the admissions team to manage and deliver the yearly calendar of on-site and online open events and feeder events.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic Registrar who is sales focused and is primarily responsible for pupil recruitment and the admissions process.

He or she shall ensure that all enquirers and applicants receive a positive impression of Abbotsholme school. As a prominent public representative of the school, he or she will excel in customer service and be a firm believer in the ethos of an all-through independent boarding School.

The School Registrar will play a key part in the planning, preparation and execution of key admissions-related public events, such as Open days, exhibition events and Taster Days. He or she will provide weekly updates to the Senior Leadership Team on boarding and day pupil applications for both international and UK students.

The Registrar will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Admissions Assistant as a team to develop and foster effective working relationships with academic and support colleagues across the full Abbotsholme school offer.

A sound understanding of boarding, overseas recruitment, Cat 4 Visa SEN and the curriculum of a school for children aged 2-18 would be an advantage.
