Head of Marketing

Hoe Bridge is a thriving independent school for girls and boys aged 2 to 16. As we enter the most exciting phase in the school’s history with the onset of our new senior school, we are looking to appoint an energetic, dynamic and forward-thinking Head of Marketing to join our team. Recognising the pressing need for an independent senior school in Woking, we have established ‘Hoe Bridge Senior School’. Working collaboratively alongside a dedicated and energetic team, the role encompasses the management and leadership of all aspects of the school’s marketing. The position will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement both short and long-term marketing strategies to ensure pupil attraction and recruitment for the school. The ability to write outstanding content, manage and analyse successful marketing campaigns, manage and develop social media and the use of various design software are essential. Outstanding written and verbal communication is a must! Applicants would benefit from having previous leadership experience in a marketing role and experience of developing and implementing strategies across an educational establishment. The role requires the post holder to be strategic and to possess the ability to work in a very fast paced environment.

Digital Marketing and Communications Assistant

 

The Digital Marketing and Communications Assistant will support the delivery of the school’s marketing objectives and will provide a central focus for all communications activities across the school.

The successful candidate will have a passion and talent for marketing using digital channels and social media platforms. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a good nose for a story and creative flair. They will also work alongside the Admissions Registrar with the aim of increasing pupil recruitment, developing the School’s reputation and ensuring the School’s brand identity is reflected consistently across all marketing material.

Start Date: Ideally, we would like the successful applicant to join us as soon as possible however, we can be flexible about the start date if needed.

Contract: Permanent, part – time (24hrs/wk, hours by arrangement during term time with occasional Saturdays or evenings, +10 days during school holiday.)

Assistant Dean of Admissions

ACS International Schools are recruiting an Assistant Dean of Admissions to join the Admissions team at ACS Cobham.

The Assistant Dean of Admissions is an integral role, supporting the enrolment management and assisting prospective families when joining ACS Cobham. This role will help to facilitate the smooth entrance process of students and their families into the school, ensuring an excellent customer experience is provided throughout.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Meet with prospective students and families both virtually and onsite including representation at virtual and onsite open days, ensuring positive relationships are established, cultivated, and maintained.
  • Ensure appropriate and regular communications with prospective families, which simultaneously inform, enquire, and track information, to ensure that families are professionally dealt with and remain active in the application process.
  • Ensure that sufficient information is provided about applicants, including appropriate and discreet enquiry with other educators, educational consultants, and boarding agents as necessary, to facilitate discussions with Principals, Head of School and other departments to determine eligibility for acceptance.
  • To support the Dean of Admissions in the supervision of the Admissions office on a day-to-day basis so that prospective parents and students receive welcoming, professional, and efficient customer service.
  • Re-enrolment – Support and assist with the re-enrolment process of existing students so that the re-enrolment process runs smoothly.
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties including managing the applications database.
  • Assist in the production of statistical reports and timely and accurate information for appropriate divisions throughout the process from initial application, matriculation, and transfer or graduation for management information purposes.
  • Work with the Marketing Department, to drive enrolment through marketing activity, including direct marketing and event marketing.
  • Represent ACS at off-site enrolment and networking events in and around the London area such as with other Schools, relocation and education consultants and influential decision-making bodies (including evening and some weekend commitments). This could also include occasional international travel.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and global outlook.
  • Previous Admissions experience in an international school environment an advantage including ability to convert from visit to application.
  • Team focused with a flexible attitude.
  • Understanding/experience of the IB Program as well as American and other international curricula is an advantage.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, hands-on, customer service environment.
  • Proven experience in the use of databases, Word, Excel, and general IT applications.
  • Experience in the production of statistical information and reports an advantage.
  • Able to develop admissions and marketing information and correspondence with competence, in collaboration with the marketing and digital teams.
  • An additional language is an advantage but not essential.

Working hours: Full time 8.30 – 4.30 (to be agreed) Monday to Friday.

The nature of the role means that it is campus/office based within a team of 7. The role will require flexibility and occasional travel to ensure delivery, including to the other ACS UK campuses and school fairs. The role involves some weekend working/travel for which time off in lieu will be given.

International and Sixth Form Admissions Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic International and Sixth Form Admissions Officer to administer the admissions procedure for overseas and sixth form applicants. You will have responsibility for ensuring compliance with Tier 4 visa requirements and overseeing the international admissions process. You will have a good working knowledge of MS Office (including databases) and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Building a rapport with prospective parents and agents by email is a key part of the role. Knowledge of Home Office procedures and immigration rules is also advantageous though training will be provided. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines as well as attention to detail and a sense of humour are essential.

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility in start and finish times will be considered, as well as applications from candidates looking to work reduced hours during school holiday periods.

Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum dependent on experience.
