Marketing, Recruitment and Events Manager

Admissions and Marketing Assistant
Moorlands School are looking to appoint a part-time Admissions and Marketing Assistant to take up role in September 2023.

• Administration and database management
• Organising and attending school events
• Student and alumni engagement
• Enquiry management and customer service
• Print and merchandise coordination including distribution of marketing materials

The Director of Marketing, Admissions and Communications is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the marketing strategy. The strategy is crucial to supporting the school’s image and reputation within the local and overseas market and will drive pupil recruitment at all levels (Nursery, Prep, Senior and Sixth Form).
The post holder is responsible for leading and developing the Marketing, Admissions and Communications team and for engaging the wider School staff in the parent experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in education or may have worked in an environment that has involved the marketing of a high value service or product and where there is an ongoing long term relationship with the customer. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their successes in this. Knowledge of international marketing will be advantageous, particularly the Asian markets.
Central to the role is the ability to understand the needs of current and prospective parents, and to identify strategies and initiatives which enable Ackworth School to meet these needs in the short and long term. Success in CRM is essential.
Through the implementation of creative and customer focused multi-channel marketing campaigns, the role supports both parent recruitment and retention, and works closely with the Schools Senior Leadership Team, to deliver a highly effective customer experience, which meets or exceeds parent expectations.Application Process

Head of Admissions
With a growing school roll (currently 430) and looking towards the School’s 300th anniversary in 2024-25, the School is looking to appoint a Head of Admissions.
As part of an External Relations department of two people, the HoA will have oversight of the admissions process for all students across the whole school, maintaining relationships with families, guardians and agents and providing timely and accurate communications from the point of enquiry to each student’s smooth transition into the school. The HoA will be the Registrar for students in the school, oversee whole-school communications and will assist with marketing, events, parent and alumni relations, and act as a level 2 Tier 4 user.
First class people skills; understanding and experience of student recruitment (UK & international); and administration of databases and CRM systems are essential. The role is full time and permanent.
