AMCIS – IAPS Prep School Marketing Seminar
IMPROVE YOUR PREP SCHOOL MARKETING
with practical ideas & sector insight
Thursday 25 January 2024
Holiday Inn, Bloomsbury, London
The AMCIS-IAPS Prep School Seminar is carefully curated to appeal to all those with full or partial responsibility for marketing their prep school on a limited budget, whether you’re a full time specialist, a teacher juggling an extra responsibility, or a busy Head’s secretary. It’s also a great opportunity to network with those performing similar roles in other schools.
We aim for you to leave with fresh insights, shared experience, tried-and-tested ideas you can emulate, plus renewed enthusiasm.
Brought to you by AMCIS and IAPS working together, the 2024 seminar will include detailed case studies, an insight to using AI in prep school marketing, ideas for optimising your digital presence, and what the current political landscape means for you and your role.
10:00 Opening Address – Tom Rogerson, Head, Cottesmore Prep School
Tom Rogerson has worked in the independent school sector for over 30 years and is in his 16th year as Head of Cottesmore Prep School, an award-winning boarding prep school for girls and boys on the border of Surrey and Sussex. In June 2023, The Telegraph reported him as saying that: “We need to prepare [children] for a life of using and living with AI and robots which have AI installed in them. They’ve got to learn for it to be their benevolent servant.”
10:45 CASE STUDY: The building of a new illustrated prospectus and branding
St Michael’s Prep School was awarded the AMCIS 2023 IMPACT Award for Team of the Year and was shortlisted in both the digital and branding categories.
