Admissions Registrar

Mount House School is a co-educational Independent Day School for students aged 11 to 18, set in a Grade II listed mansion on a stunning rural site in the London Borough of Barnet, on the outskirts of North London. Mount House is a small, inclusive school with a warm and friendly atmosphere. We are seeking a highly committed and well-organized Admissions Registrar with strong communication and outstanding relationship-building skills, to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and a “can do” approach to lead on all aspects of the admissions journey from initial contact through to enrolment; liaising with prospective parents, conducting personal tours, managing the database and pipeline and playing a key role in events for prospective families.
The expectations of the role will be to increase the number of applications and acceptances and to provide helpful, courteous, reliable and efficient service to current and prospective parents and their children.
Mount House School is both ambitious and aspirational in its philosophy, with 240 students currently on roll, the School has investment to grow to 350 in the coming years. Admissions Registrar

Holmewood House School is seeking to appoint an experienced Admissions Registrar who will work under the direction of the Head.

The role is responsible for pupil recruitment and admissions at Holmewood and plays a key ambassadorial role for the School in promoting its values and ethos in all interactions with prospective parents.

The Registrar works very closely with the Marketing Manager with both roles providing mutual support to each other at peak activity periods.

We are looking for a candidate with a good understanding of prep schools, a strong empathy with our Schools’ ethos and focus on care for the child. They will be a natural and engaging communicator and possess excellent organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail when handling data. A sensitivity to prospective parents’ needs and a confidence to positively promote the School in a balanced and sophisticated way will also be important in this role.

Previous experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage.

The working pattern is likely to be a standard 37.5 hour week, worked over 5 days per week during term time plus 6 additional weeks each year for keeping an eye on activities and prospective parental requests over the holidays. Some flexibility will be required to support recruitment events and tours that may take place outside the standard hours in order to fulfil the remit of the role.

Admissions Registrar

Edgeborough is seeking an Admissions Registrar to lead the Admissions function. A key member of the School’s support team, s/he will be the principal point of contact for all prospective parents from initial enquiry to entry into the School.

The Admissions Registrar will actively assist the Marketing Manager in promoting the School, build direct contacts and relationships with prospective parents and existing feeder schools and attend marketing events to raise aware of the school and its facilities.

The Admissions Registrar also works closely with the Head and Bursar to provide accurate financial forecasting with respect to Pupil Numbers.

Admissions Registrar

Full time – flexibility may be available for term time + 6 weeks

We are recruiting for an Admissions Registrar who is responsible for the school’s Admissions Department. The post holder oversees the school’s admissions procedures and is responsible for all marketing related to Admissions and for providing regular admissions analysis and trends.

You will line manage the Assistant Registrar, ensuring they act with due regard to legal process, from the initial point of contact with a prospective parent through to pupil arrival. The Admissions team represents the school to the outside world, presenting a positive and consistent image. The Admissions Registrar organises all admissions-related public events such as Open events and new parents’ induction events.

This is a varied and busy role and requires someone who is ideally educated to degree level with experience in a similar role, though as a minimum you will have experience in a complex, busy, service-driven environment with strong experience managing databases. With exceptional written and oral communication skills you will be able to deal with and interpret statistical and numerical data.

Admissions Registrar

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Registrar to deliver an effective admissions process and conversion strategy. Ideally you will have a background in school admissions, gained within a similar role in the independent schools sector and/or experience in a commercial front facing role. Applicants for this job should be proficient in school database management. You will be involved in and manage all aspects of admissions, guiding and influencing prospective parents through to joining the school, and assisting with the organisation of events such as Nursery and Reception Introduction Mornings, Nursery Open Mornings, Taster Days and Open Days.

Job purpose: Taking the lead in the admissions process, looking after prospective parents from enquiry to starting at the School. Working closely with the Marketing Manager on marketing the School including raising numbers on roll and raising the profile of the School. Applicants should have a warm and positive personality with the ability to create a good rapport with prospective pupils and their parents and to promote the school strongly to support recruitment and retention. Due to ongoing expansion, the School’s is looking to recruit an Admissions Registrar to lead the Senior Divisions’ Admissions team, working closely with the Principal and the Admissions Registrar (Nursery & Preparatory Divisions). The Admissions Registrar is first point of contact for prospective families and has a significant role in student recruitment and retention.

The role calls for significant relevant experience in customer care, business acumen and an understanding of the world of independent education. Travel to overseas recruitment events will form part of the role, as will involvement in the New Hall Summer School. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the capability to interact with students. The ability to analyse data and be highly organised is essential. High levels of computer literacy and excellent administration skills are required. The newly appointed Registrar will bring energy and initiative, playing a key role in helping the School grow.

The salary range for this post is between £29,056 per annum to £34,235 per annum depending on qualifications and experience (at September 2020 rates).

Felsted School is an independent co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 4 to 18 located in the beautiful English village of Felsted between Chelmsford City and Stansted Airport. We provide an exceptional holistic education to approximately 1100 pupils across our Prep and Senior School, with an international student intake that makes up 20% of our total pupil body. We are looking for a passionate, energetic and committed Admissions Registrar to oversee the admissions of Years 9 to 12. The role will oversee pupil entry from initial enquiry, introduction, registration and interview to final admission, working closely with other key stakeholders to ensure transparency and accuracy across the admissions process.

Our Registrars play an integral role in being a prominent ambassador for the school with a warm, welcoming and professional predisposition, ensuring a friendly, confident and genuine commitment to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

It is essential that the successful person has prior admissions knowledge with experience of processing high volumes of applications annually, ideally in years 9 to 12 in a busy, fast-paced environment.
