Communications Manager

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications Manager to join the AMCIS Team.

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, proactive team player who comes with extensive experience in both internal and external communications and is looking for a new challenge in their career journey.

The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity of helping to develop a completely new Communications Strategy for AMCIS which would ensure that our members are fully and comprehensively informed at all times.

The strategy would embrace all social media platforms, website, app, e-communications, resources, membership campaigns and research and analysis.

The AMCIS membership is at its highest, since the association was set up in 1993, with over 500 member schools both in the UK and overseas and over 2000 personnel, from those schools, currently on our database.  The numbers are still increasing and therefore this really is a very exciting time to join the AMCIS Team.

The role would be part time (20 hours per week, term time only, plus 3 weeks)

Home based working, with regular visits to the AMCIS Office located in Malton, North Yorkshire, would be considered for the ideal candidate.

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 pro rata, dependent on experience

Marketing and Communications Manager

The Pilgrims’ School in Winchester is seeking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Manager (reporting to the Head) in a part-time role working 30 hours per week.

The School is a leading boys prep school, with Pre-Prep, day and boarding pupils making up a total roll of about 245 boys. The School educates both the Cathedral Choristers and Winchester College Quiristers and is located on a site in the historic Cathedral Close.

The role will involve managing all marketing and communications activities for the School, to grow pupil numbers on the roll and within the admissions pipeline. The post holder will work with the Head and SLT to develop the marketing strategy for the School and ensure a strong return on all marketing investment. The goal is for the School to be oversubscribed and to have a waiting list in all year groups.

Initial priorities include to fill the Pre-Prep, boarding and any other year groups which are not full and to ensure that there are sufficient eligible candidates in our pipeline to change several boys’ lives through our bursary funding.

This is an external marketing role. The person in it will be supported (part-time) by a member of the School admin team re- social media posts aimed at current parents and the Pilgrims’ community.

Communications Manager

Under the direction of the Director of Development and External Relations, the Communications Manager is responsible for the planning, co-ordination and content creation for the School’s digital and print media, ensuring messaging is engaging, impactful and targeted at key audiences. Using a range of digital, advertising, publication and public relations skills, the Communications Manager will contribute substantially to enhancing the School’s external relations, fundraising and marketing activities.

Wycombe Abbey has been at the forefront of girls’ education for the last 125 years. Communications Manager

Applications are invited for the post of Communications Manager at The Royal Masonic School for Girls. RMS is an independent, day and boarding school with a supportive and nurturing ethos. The Communications Manager will be part of the Admissions and Marketing team. The School’s Marketing and Admissions Department covers all aspects of marketing and pupil recruitment including strategy, brand management, publications and market analysis. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Admissions, this new post is focussed on both external and internal communications as well as stakeholder engagement.

As Communications Manager you will help promote and enhance RMS’s reputation by effectively managing media relations and coordinating marketing strategies locally, nationally and overseas. The successful candidate will carry out work ranging from proactive and reactive media relations, literature design and copy, press releases and creating digital content.
