International Admissions Coordinator

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, full time International Admissions Coordinator to work within our busy Admissions Department.
The Admissions department is responsible for all aspects of the admission of pupils to the School. The first point of call for prospective families is Admissions and the department has a wealth of knowledge to assist parents from their initial enquiry through to when their child joins the school.
The role of the International Admissions Coordinator is a demanding one, and it is integral to the continued success and prosperity of the School. The post holder will be involved in all aspects of the administration and organisation of overseas admissions, together with essential cover across the wider department.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a customer-facing role, together with excellent administrative and communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience of working with a CRM database is essential and a working knowledge of Google Suite would be an advantage.

Marketing Coordinator

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join this highly successful Charity and assist in the formulation and implementation of an integrated marketing plan across two schools.
The successful applicant will support marketing initiatives including campaign management and brand touchpoints to maximise output and the recruitment of families.

The ideal candidate will be at ease promoting the values of an independent school, be hands-on and have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Enthusiasm and energy, persistence, optimism, hard work and a sense of fun is essential. A proven track record in marketing is required and experience working with creative and media agencies would be beneficial.

This post is full-time all-year round and may involve attending events that take place during evenings and weekends.

Alumni Engagement Coordinator

Full time, across the year

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Alumni Engagement Coordinator to represent the school and be the primary link between the school and its former pupils, parents and staff. The role will be to build on existing work in this area, develop an agreed alumni engagement strategy and help grow the alumni network further.

The successful candidate is likely to have a background working within marketing or customer services, with a proven ability to building strategic working relationships with stakeholder groups. They will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, be confident using social media platforms and have experience of working with databases and web pages. They should have strong organizational skills and be able to demonstrate experience of running successful client events.

The role is full time across the year with some evening and weekend work required. International Student Visa Coordinator

Millfield School is currently recruiting for an efficient and meticulous individual to coordinate applications for student visas. This is a part-time role working 3 days per week, year-round.

Millfield is one of the leading UK independent schools for boys and girls, aged 2-18 years. Millfield is not like other schools and never has been. Founded in 1935, Millfield’s vision is to be the world leader for the development of children. There are nearly 1300 students at the senior school (year 9 to U6) and a further 450 students at the neighbouring Prep School. Although essentially a rural British school, 20 per cent of Millfield students are international and come from more than 70 countries.

The International Student Visa Coordinator (ISVC) is a key role, interfacing with families of the 175 international students who join Millfield Schools each year. The ISVC is responsible for the day to day administration of Child Student Visas across Millfield Schools and all visa compliance, including creation of CAS documents and monitoring student attendance in line with school policies. It will be expected that the successful individual will stay informed of all immigration/visa legislations relevant to students and staff, and they will be responsible for ensuring Millfield retains their Highly Trusted Status and sponsorship license. Due to the nature of the work the role will require the strict following of policies and processes and detailed record keeping. In addition to the above, the role will involve other admissions work, with a particular focus on applications from international applicants.

To be considered for this role you will need to have outstanding administration and interpersonal skills. Previous experience within an admissions team or issuing students visas would also be greatly advantageous.

The International Admissions Coordinator will be involved in all aspects of the department’s work and will project-manage the administration and organisation of overseas admissions. In time, it is expected that the post holder will stand in for the Deputy Registrar in their absence and can oversee and manage the day-to-day processes across the department. The role is a demanding one and it is important to the continued success and prosperity of the school.
