The Gold Standard Charitable Trust is a Registered charity, whose sole purpose is to widen access to outstanding education. Each year the Gold Standard Charitable Trust (GSCT) offers support to parents of talented pupils whose circumstances would otherwise put an independent school education beyond their reach. We work closely with our partner schools to widen access, helping them to reach out to local families and supporting them through the process of identifying candidates.
The Gold Standard Charitable Trust wishes to deepen the culture of philanthropy in its partner schools and extend its bursary programme to enable more pupils to benefit from a high-quality education.
About the role
To lead the GSCT development function and to develop and manage an effective and comprehensive programme of fundraising. To achieve fundraising goals set by the GSCT, by cultivating relationships with current parents and alumni, focusing especially on Major Donor prospects. The Development Director is a member of the Senior Leadership Team of the GSCT.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a track record of effective fund raising, with quantifiable results.
Note: Applicants should let it be known if they would be available for an additional day working under secondment with a different charity on a similar role.
Salary: Dependent on experience, with 25 days annual leave per year plus all Public Holidays.
