International Admissions and Foundation Officer

Required as soon as possible
Salary: £25 – £27K per annum depending on experience
This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.

Queenswood is a leading Day and Boarding School for girls aged 11-18. Located within a wonderful 120 acre site in leafy Hertfordshire, we offer an exceptional working environment and a nurturing environment for staff and pupils alike. We now seek an exceptional individual to help further our international admissions, alumnae and fundraising work.
Queenswood’s alumnae, donors, and prospective international pupils are a vital part of the Queenswood story – past, present and future. The International Admissions and Foundation Officer plays an important role in providing great customer service as the initial point of contact for each of these stakeholders. This is a varied role for someone who relishes a frontline position and can provide red-hot administrative support for the Alumnae and Fundraising Manager, and the Head of International Admissions.
The Queenswood Foundation exists to provide support to our alumnae organisation and to generate funds to further the School’s aims. International recruitment is part of the overall admissions effort and exists to encourage applications from prospective international pupils and to guide them on their application journey. Both areas sit within the External Relations Department.

Foundation Officer

We require an efficient, personable and highly motivated person to provide all round support for our alumnae organisation the Old Queenswoodians Association, and to support our Director of External Relations with researching, planning and managing fundraising projects and events. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and ideally will be experienced in fundraising and supporting an alumni organisation Experience in updating database content and generating reports is a prerequisite. This is a varied role that would suit a self-starter whose previous experience has shown them to be resourceful and well organised and who would relish the opportunity to work in a busy and diverse role.

Foundation Marketing Officer

We are looking for a Foundation Marketing Officer to assist in the execution of operational marketing and events activities, as well as campaign analysis and reporting.

The successful candidate will be educated to at least A Level or equivalent, with experience in marketing, communications and/or PR. We are also looking for experience of effectively using a wide range of social media to develop our brand and experience in marketing analytics.

Woldingham School is looking for an experienced fundraiser with proven experience of raising money on behalf of a complex organisation, to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead our development and alumni programme.

Reporting directly to the Head, this new and exciting strategic role will see you build upon the achievements of the existing Development Office. Indeed, we’ll look to you to define and implement an ambitious strategy that will take our philanthropic endeavours to the next level – and beyond. One of our key priorities is to raise funds for transformational bursaries. However, we also have exciting plans for a number of discrete building projects in the next few years. Accordingly, there will be plenty of opportunity to execute some creative campaigns in the future. All the while, you’ll be leading and growing a team in all aspects of fundraising and alumnae relations.

Someone who understands how activities can be tailored to the girls’ school market, you’ve successfully secured gifts of six figures and above in the past. What’s more, you’re adept at building effective relationships with stakeholders that range from parents and alumnae to academic and support staff at all levels. You may well be an accomplished leader in a comparable organisation, either in education or a transferable field too. What’s for sure is that you’re a creative thinker who’s used to developing inspiring campaign messaging and has the drive and vision it takes to grow an ambitious and innovative Development programme. You also have a passion and empathy for the Sacred Heart values that underpin Woldingham School.
