Head of Communications and Marketing

Full Time, permanent, required for September. 37.5 hours per week, salary £40,490 to £43,810 per annum inclusive.

City of London Freemen’s School has been a thriving independent co-educational day and boarding school for the last 150 years, but not everyone has heard of this unique school in the heart of Surrey. Do you want to help us change that?

We are looking for a Head of Communications and Marketing to lead the School’s Communication and Marketing strategy, for internal and external stakeholders. Supported by a marketing team, and reporting to the Director of External Relations, you will lead on all marketing activities at Freemen’s, including the exciting new Freemen’s Global programme. From managing the events programme, ensuring brand consistency and managing advertising campaigns, through to managing publications and commissioning bespoke work with designers and web agencies…no two days will be the same in this fast-paced and exciting role.

You will have a passion for ensuring professional, creative and appropriate communications reach their target audience. You will be the main point of contact for all Marcomms inquiries from a range of audiences, including current and prospective parents, internal staff, and external stakeholders, so you will act as a highly professional brand ambassador for the School. This is a senior level role, and we are looking for an experienced candidate to bring a wealth of knowledge, skills, experience, and enthusiasm to the team.

We will give you the opportunity to grow and develop your marketing and communication skills in a fast-paced environment, where every day brings new marketing challenges and opportunities, and all within 57 acres of stunning Surrey countryside.

Normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, based in the School in Ashtead Park, however the successful incumbent will be expected to be flexible and work additional hours depending on the School’s requirements. Salary is on the City of London Corporation Grade E from £40,490 to £43,810 per annum inclusive, with the potential to increase to £46,275 per annum subject to performance.

Malvern College is looking to appoint an exceptional Head of Admissions, who is responsible for the oversight and management of a busy Admissions function within the Malvern Family of Schools. Job Purpose
The Head of Admissions (HoA) takes responsibility for the recruitment of students. The postholder is responsible for ensuring that the total number of students on roll meets or exceeds the annual target. The HoA manages enquiries with the highest level of professionalism, accuracy and customer care and is the main contact for the International Admissions Centre (IAC) at the Alpha Plus Group. The HoA will ensure that SIMS (or relevant MIS, CRM) data is accurate. The HoA leads tours, coordinates recruitment events, manages bursaries and scholarships and promotes the College on a face-to-face basis as well as digitally.
