International Marketing and Admissions Officer

St Mary’s is seeking an International Marketing and Admissions Officer to start in July 2022. The successful candidate will offer excellent customer service by managing the admissions relationship with prospective international or overseas parents, agents, and students, organise entrance testing and interviews for all prospective students and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

Opportunity to work from home can be discussed after the successful completion of the probation period.

Head of International Admissions

To start: September 2022 or earlier
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of International Admissions to manage all matters relating to overseas recruitment of boarding pupils. The candidate will work closely with the Head, Head of Marketing and Admissions and the Registrar on developing international boarding at Shebbear College.
This is a full-time role and flexibility will be required to fulfil the demands of the overseas time zones. International travel will be essential.
Shebbear College is a small independent day and boarding school of around 300 pupils, for boys and girls aged from 4 – 18. Set in 85-acres of countryside between Dartmoor and Exmoor, it is an idyllic location in which to work. Class sizes are smaller than average throughout the school and we pride ourselves on knowing every pupil as an individual, recognising their potential and helping them to achieve their best, whatever that may be. International Admissions Coordinator

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, full time International Admissions Coordinator to work within our busy Admissions Department.
The Admissions department is responsible for all aspects of the admission of pupils to the School. The first point of call for prospective families is Admissions and the department has a wealth of knowledge to assist parents from their initial enquiry through to when their child joins the school.
The role of the International Admissions Coordinator is a demanding one, and it is integral to the continued success and prosperity of the School. The post holder will be involved in all aspects of the administration and organisation of overseas admissions, together with essential cover across the wider department.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a customer-facing role, together with excellent administrative and communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience of working with a CRM database is essential and a working knowledge of Google Suite would be an advantage.

International Admissions Co -ordinator

The School is looking for a new International Admissions Co ordinator to support the recruitment of international pupils. Reporting to the Director of Development, this important role will be responsible for the administration of international applications to Wellington School and take an active role in all aspects of their admissions process including database management and planning of boarding allocations.
As the primary contact for parents of international applicants, this role works alongside the Director of Development and two other Admissions Assistants to develop and sustain excellent working relationships with overseas agents, parents and pupils.
As part of a small team, this role will also support the UK admissions processes when required.
The International Admissions Co ordinator will be a courteous, professional and knowledgeable point of contact for people both within and outside the School via email and telephone; ensuring that all communication with parents, applicants and agents is timely and appropriate.
This full time role requires an experienced, organised, flexible individual who thrives on getting the job done.

International Marketing Manager

We are looking for a digital savvy international student recruitment and marketing specialist to join the team at one of the UK’s most distinctive day and boarding schools.

RIC is Kent’s fresh alternative to traditional independent education from Year 7 to Sixth Form. All teaching takes place in small, informal groups of mixed ability students. There’s no uniform and everyone is on first name terms. We focus on the highest levels of academic achievement while retaining a creative buzz.

This is a new position and we are looking for a creative and charismatic individual to lead on international recruitment for the College. You’ll craft imaginatively and articulate fluently the tone and image of RIC in person and online. You’ll be able to command the confidence of potential students and their parents and excite them about the prospect of choosing RIC.

The role will include both marketing and admissions functions. The job description will be finalised according to the experience and expertise of the successful candidate but your main purpose will be to ensure the effective promotion of RIC internationally and to drive student recruitment. You’ll be experienced in handling international sales and admissions and comfortable with a consultative approach to sales. You’ll be happy to travel internationally, representing RIC at school fairs and agent conferences but also keen to get involved in all aspects of the College, including helping with domestic student recruitment activities when required.

Person Specification

Essential:
• Educated to degree level or beyond
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar commercial student recruitment and marketing role, ideally within the independent sixth form college or HE sectors.
• Digital marketing experience
• Ability to travel, work independently and develop relationships
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK

Desirable:
• Knowledge of other languages
• Marketing qualification
• Digital Media qualification
• Experience of using a social media scheduling and management tool such as Hootsuite
• Knowledge of international social media channels
• Experience of using Salesforce
• Experience in website management and SEO
• Managing adwords and other PPC systems for local, UK and international campaigns
• Creative and design skills, (InDesign, Photoshop and Video editing expertise preferred). Experience of using WordPress/other CMS and Google Analytics
