St Neots School is seeking to recruit a Marketing and Admissions Manager. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone to bring their vision to further develop our thriving school community. This role is responsible for the student recruitment cycle from pre-entry to the completion of enrolment for students. You will lead on all aspects of marketing and admissions to meet the schools’ objectives, making sure all functions are performed in a timely, efficient, and effective manner, as well as leading on marketing campaigns, open days and events.

Closing date: 13th December 2021

Interview dates: 16th and 17th December 2021

Marketing & Admissions Manager

We are seeking an experienced, creative and highly motivated individual to join our existing team to implement the School’s marketing and communications strategy. This new role is a key position within the School and the successful candidate will be central in delivering the School’s strategic marketing, communications and pupil recruitment plans.

Working closely with the Director of Development, the successful applicant will extend the profile, reputation and awareness of Mayfield locally, nationally and internationally through focused initiatives to deliver the School’s pupil recruitment objectives, building positive brand awareness. In collaboration with the Registrar, they will co-ordinate and deliver the School’s programme of engagement activities with feeder schools and will be responsible for the production of the School’s suite of publications in print and digital, building strong relationships with a range of outlets.

Applicants will come from a Marketing background and ideally will have some experience of the Independent School Sector. They will be able to deliver high quality written content and be skilled relationship builders, with the professionalism to represent Mayfield. They will have demonstrable experience of creating and delivering marketing strategies and be confident to deliver those to senior stakeholders. They will have excellent analytical skills, be an experienced team manager and strong team player. Salary will be dependent on experience and skills.

Mayfield is a leading independent Catholic boarding and day school for 400 girls aged 11-18 years, set in 75 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside, less than 50 miles from London, 40 minutes from Gatwick and 15 minutes from the charming historic town of Tunbridge Wells.

Marketing & Admissions Manager

Akeley Wood School is an independent co-educational day school from 12 months to 18 years, set across three stunning campuses in Buckingham with first class facilities.  We offer a creative approach to teaching and learning, with adventure at the centre of everything we do. We are seeking a creative and ambitious Marketing and Admissions Manager to manage the Marketing & Admissions function within the school and drive pupil recruitment and retention.

The primary aim of the role is to generate new prospective customer leads, raising the profile of the school among its key audiences and local community, and to oversee the admissions experience and reporting in order to drive conversion of leads.

The Marketing and Admissions Manager will ensure that Akeley Wood School:

  • has appropriate admissions processes and customer experience in place
  • develops and executes strong and effective marketing plans
  • provides the necessary admissions reporting in order to monitor and evaluate the school’s admissions progress

Reporting to the Principal, the person in this role will manage a team of four and a generous marketing budget

Applicants must have demonstrable marketing and admissions/sales experience, as well as the ability to successfully lead and manage people. An understanding of the challenges currently facing independent schools would be desirable.
