The Registrar at Francis Holland Prep will play an important role in the successful recruitment and marketing of the School in the transition to the new site and as it grows. This exciting, new position forms part of our wider Admissions team at Francis Holland School, Sloane Square and will be line managed by the Registrar at the Senior School and report into the Director of External Relations of Francis Holland Schools Trust.  Admissions, marketing and alumni relations form part of the External Relations Team for Francis Holland Schools Trust, which support our Junior and Senior Schools.

The role is varied in nature and provides the opportunity to be involved in both admissions and marketing, ensuring that we offer a high level of customer service, efficient support and guidance to our prospective parents and pupils.  It includes the following responsibilities, but other tasks and requirements may arise according to need and changing market circumstances.  The overarching aim is for the Registrar to promote the ethos and reputation of the school to the communities beyond.

Admissions Registrar (International)

We are looking for a passionate, energetic and committed Admissions Registrar to oversee the recruitment of pupils from overseas. The role will oversee pupil entry from initial enquiry, introduction, entry testing and interview, through the induction process to arrival, working closely with other key stakeholders to ensure transparency and accuracy across the admissions process.  Relationship building is an essential part of the role and significant international travel is likely.

Our Registrars play an integral role in being a positive ambassador for the school with a welcoming and professional disposition, knowledgeable about the school and with a genuine interest in the people they work with, both internally and externally.  Applicants must demonstrate their excellent interpersonal and communication skills, their commitment to superior customer service and their ability to meet targets and deadlines.  Alongside this, they need to be able to show exceptional ICT skills and be able to both understand and demonstrate their understanding of confidentiality and data protection.

It is essential that the successful person has the ability to build strong, meaningful relationships with our external partners, as well as working with colleagues throughout the School to ensure that the process is transparent and meaningful.  Knowledge of world events and an understanding of how they might impact recruitment will aid the post holder to navigate opportunities and challenges, as they maintain existing markets and develop new ones.

The post holder will need to ensure accurate data is kept for regular statistical reports needed by the Heads and Board of Governors. Registrar & Head’s PA

The Registrar and PA to the Head is a demanding and busy role requiring the ideal candidate to have strong experience of secretarial and organisational skills, computer literacy, especially in MS Office, and a professional, conscientious and flexible working attitude. Attention to detail is imperative for this role which is a vital part of the smooth-running of the school supporting the continuing growth and development of Heywood Prep.

The Registrar and PA to the Head is a key member of the School and is primarily responsible for the efficient organisation and administration of all admissions, from initial enquiry through to the pupil joining the School. In addition, the Registrar is responsible for promoting the School through building strong relationships with prospective parents and students, and running open days and other marketing events with the Marketing Co-ordinator. The postholder is also responsible for providing high-quality, confidential PA support to the Head. The role includes managing the Head’s diary, arranging meetings, minute-taking, and providing a full range of accurate and professional secretarial and administrative duties to ensure the efficient and effective running of the Head’s daily business.

Prep Admissions Registrar & Marketing Officer

We are looking for a highly organised, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to take on a dual-role at Oxford High Prep School (OHPS), focusing on Admissions and Marketing.  Working alongside the Head of Prep, the Marketing & Admissions team, as well as other teaching and support staff colleagues, this role is integral to the success of the recruitment of pupils entering Reception to Year 6.

As Admissions Registrar, your primary responsibilities are pupil recruitment, customer service and administration, with accountability for fulfilling all duties of the admissions process efficiently, through a variety of channels.

As Marketing Officer, you will focus on the planning and execution of marketing activities across various channels, such as social media, the website, as well as print communications and collateral.

You will be a vital member of the School’s marketing and admissions team, being the main point of contact for all inbound and outbound correspondences from/to prospective parents seeking entry to OHPS in Reception to Year 6, seeing through the full customer journey from initial enquiry to onboarding new students, and everything in between. All of which are required within very strict timeframes and in combination with managing a very busy and varying workload. You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to maintain a high level of efficiency and attention to detail. You must be able to work independently, taking ownership of your workload, whilst being collaborative and supportive of your colleagues in the department and throughout the school.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in customer service or sales, as well as marketing and stakeholder management. An external facing role, you will have a positive and proactive approach to work and enjoy managing multiple projects at once.
