Maternity Cover June – December 2021

We are looking for an organised, efficient and enthusiastic Admissions Administrator to provide general administrative support and to assist in the smooth running of the admissions department.

Wycombe Abbey has been at the forefront of girls’ boarding education for more than 120 years. The Admissions team is responsible for the pupil recruitment and selection process for boarding and day girls at 11+, 13+ and 16+. The department manages a large volume of enquiries and visits to the School and the Admissions Administrator plays a vital role in all communications with prospective families.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced administrator who is looking to be involved in a professional and busy school community. The role requires excellent organisation and communication skills, a good telephone manner, database experience, an ability to work accurately under pressure and to multi-task across all aspects of administration. Knowledge of iSAMS would be an advantage.

Hours: 09.00 – 17.00 (or 08.30 – 17.00) Monday to Friday, hours include a 1-hour unpaid lunch break. Some evening and weekend work will be required to support Admissions events, for which time off in lieu may be taken.

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 (pro rata)
