Short term, part-time Admissions Administrator – with potential for longer term opportunity

Northwood Schools Admissions Administrator/Registrar – short-term, two-three month contract with potential to transition to longer-term opportunity

Northwood Schools – comprising Broomwood Hall Lower School (co-ed 4-8), Broomwood Hall Upper School (girls 8-13), Northcote Lodge (boys 8-13), and Northwood Senior, (co-ed 11-16), is looking for someone to help in our busy Admissions department this summer.

The impending departure of our Registrar creates a short-term need (but also a potential longer-term opportunity) for someone who is interested in and/or experienced in Admissions within Independent schools. Previous experience would be highly desirable, but a broad appreciation and understanding of the sector, particularly within the London area, would also be advantageous.

The role would mean being the voice of the group – i.e. you would be the first point of call for parents interested in our schools, so excellent communication skills – along with a confident approach to IT, including excel and data entry are essential. Experience of CMS/school databases would be useful.

Whilst this is a short-term post, there is potential for this role to transition into a longer-term opportunity for the right person.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who can work from 10:00-2:00 pm, Monday to Friday, although we can be flexible.

Salary negotiable and dependent on experience.
