Established in 1987, Abercorn School is an independent, co-educational day school for pupils aged 2-13 set across three prestigious Central London locations. Our Lower School site is in St John’s Wood, with Middle School pupils based in Marylebone. The Upper School site, for pupils in Years 5-8 is based on Portland Place. A new Senior site has recently been procured, which the School will expand into. The School aims to offer its pupils the best start in education by providing a friendly, caring and inspiring academic atmosphere where a true love of learning is nurtured and from which pupils can go on to successfully gain places at a range of selective senior schools.

Abercorn School strongly believes in empowering children to teach them the skills to become independent lifelong learners. Our practice focuses highly on child initiated learning, listening to and interacting with children to find out their interests and develop a passion for learning. We encourage a culture of collaboration to communicate and develop ideas and to think critically and creatively.
