Admissions Manager
Demand for places at Claremont Fan Court has increased rapidly in recent years. For example, demand for 11+ and 13+ places has increased by 135% in the last three years alone. As a result of our recent growth in pupil numbers, the admissions department is expanding further and is looking to increase the size of its team. With the internal appointment of a head of admissions and communications, we are now looking to appoint a new, additional role of admissions manager.
This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of pupil recruitment at Claremont Fan Court School and guiding prospective families through the admissions process, with a particular focus on 11+ admissions and the Preparatory School. However, each member of the team is expected to support and deputise for their team colleagues to ensure we deliver the same excellent offering of support and advice for families considering bringing their child here at the age of 2½ as at the age of 16.
Approachable, level-headed and self-motivated, the admissions manager will be a key public face of the school, developing and fostering effective relationships with prospective parents and families.
Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent administration, IT and interpersonal skills. Experience of a customer service role in a commercial organisation is essential and experience within an admissions role in an educational setting would be a distinct advantage.
In return, we offer a competitive salary and all the benefits of working in a thriving independent school including generous pension, life assurance and discounted school fees, lunches, free parking and a cycle scheme.
Further details and how to apply can be found under the work with us tab on our website at www.claremontfancourt.co.uk
