Admissions Officer – International College
St Clare’s, Oxford, International College, is a co-educational, independent, international day and boarding college. It caters for students aged 16 and above. The college is located in the beautiful Victorian suburb of North Oxford, just south of Summertown, and the College is a 20-minute walk from Oxford city centre.
The Admissions Officer will support the Head of Admissions, International College, in their role to provide a first-class service to prospective students, ensuring that they receive professional advice and support throughout the recruitment and admissions process.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, and/or possess experience in further or higher education, or English Language Teaching (ELT). You should have good experience of dealing with enquiries and correspondence in a professional and timely manner, an understanding of administrative processes that contribute to efficient academic administration, a proven ability to juggle multiple demands, to prioritise and manage competing deadlines, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
On occasion, you will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (for instance, on our busy arrivals days for the start of term in September and January).
