Admissions Registrar

Mount House School is a co-educational Independent Day School for students aged 11 to 18, set in a Grade II listed mansion on a stunning rural site in the London Borough of Barnet, on the outskirts of North London. Mount House is a small, inclusive school with a warm and friendly atmosphere. There is a focus on student well-being and an all rounded education, with all students encouraged to work hard and do their best. We are proud of the results our students achieve, both inside and outside the class, as well as the young adults they become.
We are seeking a highly committed and well-organized Admissions Registrar with strong communication and outstanding relationship-building skills, to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic and a “can do” approach to lead on all aspects of the admissions journey from initial contact through to enrolment; liaising with prospective parents, conducting personal tours, managing the database and pipeline and playing a key role in events for prospective families.
The expectations of the role will be to increase the number of applications and acceptances and to provide helpful, courteous, reliable and efficient service to current and prospective parents and their children.
Mount House School is both ambitious and aspirational in its philosophy, with 240 students currently on roll, the School has investment to grow to 350 in the coming years. The School has an excellent reputation for the strength of its academic and co-curricular provision within a caring environment, and benefits from a strong financial base to be able to support a progressive programme of investment in its infrastructure and modern facilities.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with the skills to drive a successful admissions strategy, and support the growth of the School as the leading small co-educational senior school in the area. We expect to pay generously depending on the successful candidate’s experience and track record.
