Admissions Registrar (Junior School)

St Chris is seeking to appoint an Admissions Registrar (Junior School) to work under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Admissions, and closely alongside the Senior Admissions Registrar and other members of the department.

The key focus of this role is to work with the Director of Marketing and Admissions to implement the strategy for the attraction, recruitment and retention of students across the Junior School and Nursery, supporting the growth of the student roll.

The Admissions Registrar (Junior School) is responsible for leading the recruitment and admissions process in the Junior School and Nursery, from initial enquiry, organisation of admissions events and the assessment process all the way through to admission, supporting induction and retention activities.

The successful applicant will provide excellent customer service to prospective families and will foster effective relationships across St Chris and with any relevant feeder schools. They will contribute to regular reviews and analysis of internal and external admissions trends, ensuring they act with due regard to legal process.

While taking the lead for Junior School and Nursery admissions, the Admissions Registrar (Junior School) will also contribute to the work of the department as a whole, have a thorough understanding of all areas of life in the Junior and Senior Schools and play a key role in contributing to a positive and consistent school image.

Hours: Full-time, 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday – with a one-hour unpaid break for lunch – 40 hours per week. The occasional evenings and Weekends for Assessment Days, Open Days and other school events for which time can be taken back as lieu. For the right candidate part-time, or term-time plus 6 weeks would be considered and a pro rata salary and holidays would be offered.
