A voluntary role
The AMCIS Board of Directors is currently seeking two new directors to join the AMCIS Board at the AGM in May 2023.
The Board would especially like to receive notice of interest from candidates who currently work in a prep or co-ed day school and are located in the Midlands, Central London or Scotland.
In addition, the Board are also looking for candidates who have responsibility for communications in their school and / or can demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of EDI in schools, however, candidates from all sectors are most welcome to apply.
Candidates would need to be able to demonstrate a level of commitment that would include attendance at three Board meetings per year, attendance at specific AMCIS events and at the Annual Conference. In addition, Board members are asked to contribute to on-going discussions and developments through e-mail and telephone. Travel expenses are reimbursed by AMCIS to Board meetings.
Membership of the AMCIS Board offers a chance to further your professional development in the field of schools’ admissions, marketing and communications at Director level, working alongside respected and knowledgeable professionals in the field. The commitment is not onerous but brings a wealth of benefits at both a personal level and for the school to which you are attached.
