Assistant Registrar

The post is term time only,  plus 4 weeks to be worked during the school holidays. These are to include part of the October and February half term and certain days at the start and end of each term (including some agreed days during the summer holidays).

The City of London School wishes to appoint an Assistant Registrar to work alongside the Registrar and other Assistant Registrar, to organise and co-ordinate the administration of school admissions and to contribute to the development of admissions procedures and processes in order to deliver an efficient, effective and courteous admissions service to prospective students and their families, feeder schools and others.

The successful candidate will be an initial point of contact for all admissions enquiries and be responsible for Admissions processes. The successful candidate will have significant office experience and proficiency with iSAMS, Word and Excel. The ability to maintain efficient records, both paper and electronically, and to have strong organisation skills and the ability to work with attention to detail is essential together with self-motivation and the ability to work flexibly and under pressure at busy times.  Previous experience of a similar role in admissions in the independent school sector would be an advantage.

Salary: Salary: £30,080 to £33,830 inclusive of Inner London Weighting per annum, pro-rata. (Actual Salary Figure based on TTO Contract: £26,502 to £29,806)

Start Date: September 2021
