Cluster Marketing Manager (Northern Schools)
Forfar Education was established in 2017 with an aim of becoming a market leading international schools’ operator. Forfar schools are known for being family-oriented and nurturing, where each and every pupil fulfils their academic potential, whilst benefiting from a diverse and enriching extra-curricular offering.
Forfar currently has 8 schools and nurseries within its portfolio with plans to acquire more schools both in the UK and overseas in the future.
As a result of their continued growth, Forfar are seeking to appoint a dynamic marketing professional to focus on their Northern cluster of schools, with the key aim being to increase pupil enrolment.
Initially working closely with Argyle House School in Sunderland and Brackenfield School in Harrogate, you will work with each school to review current marketing and admissions practices. You will be responsible for preparing and then executing upon a clear marketing plan and lead key enrolment-driving campaigns and events, building the premium brand position of the schools whilst extending their digital footprint out into the community through compelling social media, communications and materials. You will take ownership for a continuous programme of market research to help the schools better understand key market trends, influences and provide analysis to improve the school’s recruitment strategy.
The suitable candidate will ideally have prior experience of working within a marketing role within education, have a proven track record of implementing marketing strategies and creating digital and offline content. You will also have a strong understanding of the admissions cycle and be able to work with the senior leadership team to implement the marketing campaigns. You will have a commercial outlook with an understanding of the customer journey.
The successful applicant will be a dynamic and ambitious self-starter with the drive, passion and insight to make a big difference. You will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
There is an expectation that the suitable candidate will work from each school, with the potential for some hybrid working each week.
