Communications Officer

Radley College are excited to share this unique opportunity to join our small, ambitious and high performing communications team.

The Communications Officer will lead on the communications of day-to-day activities, ensuring key messages are communicated with clarity in the most effective and innovative way. We are seeking a natural communicator with excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of social media platforms. Most importantly, the Communications Officer will be excited by sharing unique stories that captivate new audiences yet appeal to the people who know us best.

It is likely that the successful candidate will have comparable experience in an educational or not-for-profit organisation but we welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds. An excellent command of written English is, however, essential for this role.

If you would like to arrange a preliminary conversation about the role prior to application, please email Ben Weston-Conway, Head of Communications via bjgw.weston-conway@radley.org.uk to arrange this.

We anticipate the Communications Officer will work full-time (35 hours per week) , however we are happy to hear from candidates interested in working slightly reduced hours, year round. Radley College offer a number of staff benefits including a College sickness scheme, reduced membership of the onsite sports centre, free parking on site and free school meals during term time.

Applications must be submitted on the official application form, which can be downloaded from the school website,  together with a covering letter explaining you interest in the role. Completed applications should be sent to applications@radley.org.uk.

Closing date for applications is 12 noon, Thursday 8 February 2024.
