Community Events Manager

Full time, permanent position to start ASAP

The Gold Standard Charitable Trust is a Registered charity, whose sole purpose is to widen access to outstanding education. Each year the Gold Standard Charitable Trust (GSCT) offers support to parents of talented pupils whose circumstances would otherwise put an independent school education beyond their reach. We work closely with our partner schools to widen access, helping them to reach out to local families and supporting them through the process of identifying candidates.

The Gold Standard Charitable Trust wishes to deepen the culture of philanthropy in its partner schools and extend its bursary programme to enable more pupils to benefit from a high-quality education.
About the role

To develop and manage an ongoing programme of “friend-raising”, involving both current parents and alumni. To organize fund-raising events and regular giving programmes in collaboration with the relevant schools.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a track record of effective fund raising, as well as marketing and communications skills.
Salary: Dependent on experience, with 25 days annual leave per year plus all Public Holidays.

Location: Alpha Plus Head Office, Marylebone W1
