Development Manager
We are looking for a talented and dedicated fundraising professional to join Wycombe Abbey’s Development and External Relations department as Development Manager (Individual Giving).
Wycombe Abbey has been at the forefront of girls’ education for the last 125 years. The Development and External Relations team is responsible for engaging a wide range of stakeholders in the current and future activities of the School. The Development function secures support for Wycombe Abbey from a variety of sources.
As the School moves into its 125th anniversary year, a range of Development activities are being planned. This role presents an exciting opportunity to maximise the effectiveness of the Development and External Relations department at an exciting time of growth. The successful candidate will have excellent relevant experience, be dynamic and proactive, have high standards for their work and possess excellent written and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor’s Degree, with experience working in a similar role is highly desirable.
The Development Manager will actively contribute to fundraising strategy, driving engagement and taking responsibility for driving income generation through key individual giving programmes. The role-holder will take responsibility for actively growing regular and legacy giving from alumnae, parents and other supporters and ensuring excellent prospect cultivation, donation management and prospect research processes within the department. The Development Manager (Individual Giving) will line manage the Alumni Relations Officer and manage our programme of international development events.
