Development Officer

Year round, 37.5 hours per week
£24,877-27,986 per annum actual salary

Clifton High School is an academically selective, co-educational, independent day school for approximately 650 pupils aged 3-18 years. Situated on a beautiful Bristol site, our educational offering is underpinned by a strong pastoral and family ethos. We value individuality and positively celebrate diversity and inclusion in every area of the School.

We are looking to appoint a Development Officer to help embed a culture of philanthropy and support both within the School and our networks. The successful applicant will be responsible for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, particularly with our parent body, and deliver a first-class service through excellent data management and communications.

The Development Officer will require a good knowledge of fundraising and will be successful in using data management as well as a range of engaging communication principles to increase support for a charity or similar organisation. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, confidence in communicating to a wide range of donors and stakeholders, and a proactive, creative approach to fundraising. Excellent attention to detail will be essential.

Completed application forms should include a suitability statement to illustrate how the requirements of the post will be met, and be emailed to the Head of School, Mr Matthew Bennett, at recruitment@cliftonhigh.co.uk

Closing date for applications: 9am Friday 11th March 2022

Clifton High School is committed to safeguarding children and young people and expects all staff, visitors and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
