18-month Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of moving to a permanent role, 35 hours per week. Salary £27,750 to £31,550 per annum inclusive.
City of London Freemen’s School is a thriving independent co-educational day and boarding school, with a history spanning nearly 170 years. We are seeking to appoint a Development Officer to join the School’s expanding Development & Alumni team. As a result of increased investment, this position is a key part of a growing and re-organised team structure. The successful candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time, where the role can create a real impact both within the School and the wider community.
Reporting to the Development, Community & Partnerships Manager, you will be skilled in prospect research, and can identify stakeholders with the ability to support the School’s strategic objectives. You will have strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence and ability to build engaging and effective long-term relationships with prospects, whilst deepening relationships with existing donors. You will have experience of working in a front-facing fundraising function and can provide evidence of your success. With a keen eye for detail, you will also be confident in creating a range of supporting literature and materials, with which to engage and excite prospects and donors.

Normal working hours are 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, based in the School in Ashtead Park, with the expectation to attend a number of Development & Alumni, Community, and Marketing events (which may take place out of typical hours), as required.
