Director of Admissions and Communications

Ardingly College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and communications professional to join the leadership team of a successful co-educational independent school educating pupils from Nursery to Sixth Form.

The Director of Admissions and Communications is a senior whole-school role that incorporates admissions, marketing, communications and external stakeholder relationships and the successful candidate will play an important role in shaping the College’s educational purpose and reputation in the coming years.

Working primarily with the Head of College, Head of Prep School and the Admissions Registrar, the post-holder is responsible for the recruitment and retention of pupils and ensuring that the pupil population maintains an appropriate and agreed balance and diversity.

As such, we are seeking an outstanding individual with a proven track record managing a communications and marketing team and over-seeing successful delivery of a communications and/or marketing strategy.

As a senior role, working hours will be commensurate with the responsibilities. Within this, the role could be carried out full-time or on a flexible term-time plus basis to be negotiated on appointment.

Salary is circa £70,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience and agreed hours.
