Are you keen to be involved in helping set the strategic direction and to be part of creating exciting new developments for the School’s future success? If the answer is yes and you would like to work with an excellent team at Downside School, we would love to hear from you.

As a member of the School’s Senior Leadership Team the Director of Admissions and Marketing is responsible for overseeing pupil recruitment and further developing and implementing a robust strategy for successfully recruiting pupils, in order to ensure recruitment targets are met and the ethos of the School is maintained.

This is a rare opportunity to fully utilise your admissions, marketing, customer service, administration and leadership skills in a unique environment. At Downside we are committed to working in partnership with families and to providing an environment which nurtures young people of integrity, who can think for themselves, stand up for their beliefs, and act to make a positive difference in the world.

As Director of Admissions and Marketing you will have responsibility for all aspects of the school’s admissions process with a view to maximising the number of enquiries, visits, registrations and joiners, whilst ensuring that retention levels remain strong.

The Director of Admissions and Marketing is also responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for the whole school, with the support of our Marketing Manager, and acts as ‘brand guardian’, promoting and developing the School’s image and reputation amongst its key stakeholders.
