Director of Communications, Marketing and Development
Salary range: £70,000 – £90,000 depending upon skills and experience
Applications are invited for the newly created role of Director of Communications, Marketing and Development at Channing School. Located in Highgate, North London, on an attractive site, Channing is a highly successful independent day school for over 950 girls aged 4-18. Reporting to the Headmistress, the Director of Communications, Marketing and Development will be a member of the school’s senior leadership team.
We are looking for a value-led leader with the confidence to inspire colleagues to deliver innovative and impactful communications. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced marketing, communications or development professional. Previous schools’ experience is not essential, but candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of and empathy with the aims of independent education. The Director will be responsible for our marketing, development and admissions functions and will bring the marketing activity in-house following a period of support provided through consultancy. They will build on existing alumnae engagement and be responsible for establishing the development strategy and team.
