Director of External Relations (full-time, 52 weeks per year)

Salary scale £48,000 – £52,000 per year.
We seek to appoint a driven marketing professional with experience in branding and digital marketing (website and social media), along with PR and event management. An ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously, to deadlines and within budget, is essential. Outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and organisational skills and computer proficiency are vital.
This new post is designed to take the lead in creating, developing, implementing and managing the communications and marketing strategies for Tudor Hall and Carrdus in order to support the achievement of the schools’ objectives. This will include pupil recruitment and retention, and communications and content strategies, as well as broader PR work establishing a strong understanding of the schools’ brand both internally and externally.
The successful candidate will be dynamic, focused and lead by example. They will be calm under pressure, resilient and tenacious. We are looking for someone who wishes to invest wholeheartedly in this dynamic, forward-thinking, and caring community.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week excluding lunch), but the nature of the responsibilities is such that additional working may be required.
Tudor Hall is a girls’ boarding school with a strong sense of community. Carrdus is an independent day school for girls and boys aged 3–11 years old.
