Director of External Relations

With a growing school roll (currently 430) and looking towards the School’s 300^th anniversary in 2024-25, the School is looking to appoint a Director of External Relations. As head of a department of two people, under the direction of the Head, the DoER will have oversight of admissions & student recruitment; marketing; advertising & branding; communications & publishing; feeder & partner school liaison; events; and relationships with alumni, parents and friends of the School. The DoER will act as the School’s (temporary) Tier 4 Authorising Officer.

Experience of boarding and day student recruitment (international, national and local); knowledge of strategic marketing and the creation and implementation of marketing plans; UKVI SMS administration; first class communication and relationship building skills; flexible working hours; and a desire to travel (both in the UK and internationally) are essential. The role is full time and permanent.
