We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing and communications professional.
Reporting to the Head, and a key member of the Sir William Perkins’s School Senior Leadership Team, the Director of Marketing and Admissions will be responsible for a team encompassing pupil admissions, marketing, alumnae, events, and digital communications. While the role is a strategic one, it will also require an aptitude for the process and detail that are part of the successful management of an independent day school.
Our ideal candidate will be creative and enthusiastic about the education sector, although previous experience within it is not essential. We would like you to have proven leadership and management experience, an experience of multi-channel marketing campaigns and brand development, as well as digital marketing operations.
The key responsibilities are:
Marketing & Communications – Developing a full Marketing Strategy, you will review our material to promote and develop the school’s brand.
Pupil Recruitment/Retention and Admissions – Working closely with the Head of Admissions to oversee activities and events, including open days, taster days and feeder school events.
Management – Our ideal candidate will be able to lead, inspire and motivate the team and will be required to carry out additional duties outside normal working hours in accordance with the demands of a busy independent school, and a full marketing events programme.

About the school
Sir William Perkins’s School is a high-performing independent girls’ school for approximately 600 students aged 11 – 18 years. Our Campus sits on 13 acres of Surrey greenbelt land with large private sports fields and excellent facilities, which are continuously developed to keep our teaching and learning resources as up to date as possible.
