Applications are invited for the post of Director of Marketing and Admissions at Dragon School, Oxford.
Founded in 1877, Dragon School is the largest co-educational boarding and day preparatory school in the UK, with c.800 pupils aged 4-13 years. The School is widely regarded as one of the country’s leading independent schools and offers an exceptional, enriched and personalised educational experience for boys and girls.
Reporting directly to the Headmaster, this is a key strategic leadership role. The Director of Marketing and Admissions will embrace the future vision of the School during an exciting development period for the Dragon. They will provide dynamic and creative leadership for marketing and admissions and will develop and deliver outstanding strategies.
This pivotal leadership position will be most likely suited to an experienced and innovative professional from the independent schools’ sector with a proven track record within a marketing and admissions related context. Alternatively, the role might suit an exceptional individual with similar commercial marketing and customer relationship experience gained outside the sector who has an instinctive feel for the independent day and boarding market, combined with the relevant transferable skills to undertake this complex and fulfilling job.
