Head of Brand and Marketing

Aysgarth is one of the most distinguished prep schools in the country and was recognised as Prep School of the year by Tatler in 2019/20. The School has a renowned history and is the only boys boarding prep school in the north of Britain, with pupils travelling from many parts of the UK and overseas to join the Aysgarth community. With over 140 boys (aged 8 to 13 years) in the Prep School and 70 children (aged 3 to 8 years) in the coeducational Pre-Prep, Aysgarth is in extremely good health.

Situated in a particularly beautiful rural site with excellent modern facilities, Aysgarth provides its pupils with the opportunity to develop into confident, ambitious and resilient children. This is underpinned by the School’s values of respect, endeavour and courage. Aysgarth provides a broad and balanced education for every pupil, supporting them to make the very most of their potential both in and out of the classroom. Whilst ensuring that academic development is paramount, the School takes great care to ensure that the children have the opportunity to participate in the fields of sport, music, drama and art, enabling them to discover their strengths and aptitudes. Aysgarth believes strongly in the value of a boarding community as a means of developing a child in every aspect.

The Head of Brand and Marketing will play a crucial role in the promotion of Aysgarth to the outside world, working closely with the Head and others to make the most of all that the School has to offer. Operating in a highly competitive market place, it is crucial that Aysgarth continues to be understood and known about across a range of different audiences. The role reports to the Head. At its core, the role is responsible for defining, designing, developing and delivering the strategies and plans for the Prep and Pre-Prep Schools in relation to the Aysgarth brand and marketing activity.
