Head of Marketing and Development

St Lawrence College is a leading HMC boarding and day school located in the seaside town of Ramsgate. Founded in 1879, it educates 600 pupils aged 3-18, with almost half of its Senior School pupils being full boarders. It is a High Performance Learning ‘World Class School’ and was recently voted as one of the top 100 sports schools in the country. It has a strong emphasis on the pastoral wellbeing of its pupils and was graded ‘Excellent’ in its ISI Inspection in May.

The College is seeking to appoint a dynamic, outward-facing and experienced Head of Marketing and Development, to further enhance the global and local influence of the College and strengthen the relationships amongst the Old Lawrentian network.

The successful applicant will be a strategic thinker, with an excellent understanding of marketing and communications and an ability to build strong relationships quickly. They will be enthusiastic, proactive and creative, with a proven track record of leadership and the ability to work collaboratively for the good of the College.

This is a full-time 37.5 hour per week / 52 weeks per year role, therefore a flexible attitude to working hours is necessary, as the post holder will be required to work additional hours, in the evenings or at the weekend, depending on the needs of the College.
