Head of Strategy and Marketing Consultancy Services

RSAcademics is a trusted consulting partner for schools in the UK and worldwide. We find and develop leaders, guide decision makers, solve practical problems and make connections so that schools can enhance their position in the market.

We are looking for an individual with strong consultancy skills and experience of working at a senior level, ideally within the education sector, to lead our strategy and marketing consultancy services.  You will join us at a time of growth and play a proactive part in the successful delivery of our five-year strategy.

Founded in 2002, RSAcademics has grown steadily and we now work each year with over 250 different school clients in the UK and around the world and count over 80 employees and associates.

This is a new and important role reporting to the Head of Strategy, Marketing and Development.  A member of the company’s management team, you will be responsible for the winning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of consultancy projects.

Our client assignments are varied in nature and include:

  • multi-phased, complex strategic projects
  • competitor and demographic analysis
  • stakeholder research and analysis
  • strategic communications
  • marketing & admissions reviews
  • assisting schools with the appointment of senior marketing, communications and admissions staff.

We have an increasing number of clients who seek our advice on growth strategies, mergers and acquisitions, organisational structures and workforce planning and it is likely that you will take the lead on these types of projects in particular.

You will have commercial acumen; a passion for supporting organisations in developing their strategy and related marketing planning; and a flair for identifying opportunities.  You will have an aptitude for crafting consultancy programmes that deliver clear and meaningful insights to guide and advise senior leaders.  You will lead a small team of consultants to solve strategic problems and develop strong client relationships.

This position is an opportunity for a motivated and well-rounded individual to work in a pivotal and challenging role where no two days are the same, and as part of an organisation looking to evolve nationally and internationally. If you share our commitment to education and schools and feel you meet the criteria please get in touch.

Interested candidates are invited to contact Susannah Thompson or Nina Lambert to arrange an informal and confidential discussion about the role:

Susannah Thompson: SusannahThompson@RSAcademics.com

Nina Lambert: NinaLambert@RSAcademics.com

The closing date for applications is 10.00am on 20th June 2022.
