The School
Tockington Manor School is a small independent Preparatory School and Nursery, educating boys and girls from 2 – 13 years of age. The school is situated in the village of Tockington, a few minutes’ drive from Junction 16 of the M5, just north of the City of Bristol. We sit in 28 acres of beautiful grounds, providing a safe, secure, and happy environment for its pupils. Boasting first class sports pitches, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool and an all-weather pitch, it is also home to one of the largest privately owned arboretums in the UK. We also have a state-of-the-art Music and Performing Arts Suite, as well as a recently refurbished Art Studio.
The school has grown significantly in recent years into a 270 roll from Nursery through to Year 8. TMS has an outstanding reputation for high academic achievements, sporting excellence and superb pastoral care. Tockington have an enviable success rate in gaining places for Year 8 pupils in their first choice Senior Schools, many of whom with Scholarships. In 2022 the class of nineteen pupils went to thirteen different schools and were offered sixteen scholarships.
Recently celebrating our 75th Anniversary we have a strong history and sense of community balanced alongside our vision for the school. We are a small school with big ambitions demonstrated by our national success within academia, drama and sports.
The Role
Tockington Manor School seeks to appoint a new Marketing and Communications Manager.
The Marketing and Communications Manager is central to ensuring the continued successful recruitment through use of marketing strategies that align and promote Tockington Manor School and Nursery.
To create awareness and stimulate interest in Tockington Manor School and Nursery amongst target audience, building upon the school’s considerable reputation and successes. Generate the required number of enquiries and visits to ensure the school is operating at or close to capacity. To produce and deliver a Marketing Strategy for the School and Nursery that reflects the school’s vision.
