Marketing and Communications Manager

The Pilgrims’ School in Winchester is seeking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Manager (reporting to the Head) in a part-time role working 30 hours per week.

The School is a leading boys prep school, with Pre-Prep, day and boarding pupils making up a total roll of about 245 boys. The School educates both the Cathedral Choristers and Winchester College Quiristers and is located on a site in the historic Cathedral Close.

The role will involve managing all marketing and communications activities for the School, to grow pupil numbers on the roll and within the admissions pipeline. The post holder will work with the Head and SLT to develop the marketing strategy for the School and ensure a strong return on all marketing investment. The goal is for the School to be oversubscribed and to have a waiting list in all year groups.

Initial priorities include to fill the Pre-Prep, boarding and any other year groups which are not full and to ensure that there are sufficient eligible candidates in our pipeline to change several boys’ lives through our bursary funding.

This is an external marketing role. The person in it will be supported (part-time) by a member of the School admin team re- social media posts aimed at current parents and the Pilgrims’ community.
