Marketing and Communications Officer

Part-time (2.5 days)

Start Date: Spring term, as soon as possible after February half term

Salary: according to experience

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable part-time Marketing and Communications Officer to join our school. The working days will be full days on a Wednesday and Thursday and half day on a Friday.

This is a busy, varied and creative role within the marketing team, which covers a range of activities and responsibilities including:

  • Managing the school website & social media accounts
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of the school’s social media strategy
  • Assisting in the production of the school’s weekly newsletter
  •  Assisting in the production of the school’s printed publications and advertising material
  • Providing high quality photography and videography covering day-to-day activities at the school as well as events.

The successful candidate will have experience of marketing – ideally within a school setting and particularly in the area of digital marketing. Photography and videography (including editing) skills are desirable. You will be organised and able to manage your own workload in order to meet deadlines. Attention to detail is important, as well as a motivation to produce high quality content which matches the school brand’s emphasis on excellence. You will be a strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing creative ideas.
