Part Time Marketing & Communications Manager
Kew College Prep is an independent co-educational pre-prep and prep school for children aged 3 to 11 years. Based in Kew, West London, it is a friendly and family-orientated school which aims to prepare pupils for the modern world: balancing academic and pastoral care with creativity, exploration, and community.
We are looking to appoint a Marketing and Communications Manager to join us as soon as possible.
You will work with the Head and Registrar to develop and deliver the school’s marketing, communication and admissions strategy. The role includes website management, digital content creation for digital and social media platforms, termly admission newsletters, brand guardianship, data analytics, and communication channel management.
You will have previous marketing experience, ideally within the context of independent education. At your best working as part of a team, you’ll be enthusiastic and passionate about your work, be an effective communicator, have experience of managing websites and social media platforms and be able to create engaging digital and print content by means of imagery, text and video. You’ll also understand how to draw on data insights to inform our future marketing and communications activities.
A key focus of this role will be to promote the school’s activities and achievements across numerous platforms to enhance the school’s digital presence.
The role is term time plus 4 weeks during the school holidays (40 weeks per year). This is a permanent part-time position. Hours of work will be 16 to 24 hours per week (equivalent to two to three days 8.00 am – 4.30 pm), however, different working patterns are possible and we’re happy to discuss options at any stage of the application process. Limited attendance may be required at evening events.
