An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Marketing and Admissions Department for an enthusiastic Marketing & Events Officer with an innovative approach. The role holder will be responsible for promoting the St Joseph’s brand and for communicating the strengths of the College and the breadth of activities and achievements of pupils and staff to prospective parents and pupils.

Applicants should have experience of digital marketing campaigns, content management systems and event organisation and possess excellent communication skills and the ability to write creatively for a variety of audiences. This is a full-time, all year round role, for an immediate start.

This is an exciting time to become part of our dynamic team. Situated in the heart of Reading, St Joseph’s College is the leading independent day school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18 in Berkshire. In November 2015 it was named Independent School of the Year. During 2019 the College was shortlisted for the TES Wellbeing of the Year Award; recognised as one of the top 25 influencers and innovators in the Independent Sector at the i25 awards; featured in this year’s Parliamentary Review, and was a finalist at the Independent School of the Year Award.

For us, success is about more than just exam results or awards. We celebrate each pupil as an individual, and aspire for them to leave St Joseph’s as mature and confident citizens, ready to tackle life head on with energy and vigour.

You will combine an inspiring approach to teaching with excellent communication skills, a passion for the subject and a commitment to promoting high standards. You will be fully supportive of the College Catholic tradition and expected to contribute to the full life of the School. For further details about the school, please visit our website http://www.sjcr.org.uk or contact the HR Coordinator.
