Senior Planner and Business Analyst
ACS International Schools is looking for a Senior Marketing Planner and Business Analyst team to join the Marketing team at our Head Office in Cobham. This role will be responsible for acquiring and providing strategic marketing insight for both UK & Doha to inform ACS’ future growth opportunities. It leads the planning and enrolment forecasting that underpins ACS’ growth plan and is responsible for the development of new product and service business cases and the development of incentives and other commercial opportunities. The Senior Planner will be a key contributor to the achievement of ambitious, enrolment and growth plans and will have responsibility for delivering key strategic insight and data.
Key Duties:
Partner with the Head of UK Schools Marketing to forecast enrolment throughout the year for UK & Doha in line with growth targets and provide insights to support forecasts.
Source and analyse external market intel and data for the global international education and UK and Doha international schools market building a market-level picture of the growth opportunities and support ACS ambitious growth plans with insightful strategic insight.
Acquire insight and data on directly competitive markets (UK Independent schools data, International Boarding. Doha schools data) keeping abreast of all competition changes, ensuring acquisition of all relevant market surveys and data.
Report and advise on market enrolment trends to support planning.(UK & Doha)
Ensure the clear, consistent, and effective communication of the enrolment forward view internally to ensure timely, and accurate internal awareness.
With Head of UK Schools Head of Marketing write enrolment reports and updates regularly as required for Board and LT engagement.
In consultation with Deans, lead short term enrolment forecasting and the forecasting calendar for ACS, in line with the business planning cycle and highlight issues and opportunities.
Conduct other research to support growth objectives for UK and Qatar and internationally and work with third party consultants as required.
In conjunction with key stakeholders and working with Finance, identify and build commercial business cases for new growth or revenue opportunities across 4 schools.
Lead related pricing review/ research projects.
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
Previous experience of strategic business analysis, market research and planning
Data rational with the ability to analyse, systemise and operate successfully in an environment which is still developing its processes and technical infrastructure.
Good project management skills with an eye for detail and an ability to see things through.
Excellent analytical, numerical and verbal reasoning skills, coupled with strong environmental scanning ability and conceptual dexterity.
Clear oral and written communicator with the ability to work effectively and establish credibility with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Self-starter with the ability to operate independently with some external professional support.
Bright, open, confident, resourceful and highly professional.
Positive and good humoured with a flexible, can-do approach with adaptability to change.
Able to apply an orthodoxy method with a systematic, logical and precise approach
A steady and dependable approach whilst being reactive to change
Meticulous aptitude for monitoring and quality control.
This is a full time role based at our Head Office in Cobham. Hybrid working is offered.
The salary range is £44k – £48k
